In both 1983 and 1984, Philip helped his Nicolet H.S. team win back to back regional titles and progress to the Wisconsin State Championship tournament.
Philip played college soccer in Goshen, IN, at DePaul University in Chicago, and was recruited to play for Marquette University by head coach Jerry Panek.
Since 1998, Philip has been active with soccer in Urbana-Champaign, as a
coach, player, and official. In 2003, he received a Community Service Award from the Urbana Park
District for his work with youth soccer.
Coach Anders has a USSF 'D' coaching license, and is a USSF certified
